The Sustainability Action Plan is the University's roadmap for building and operating a more sustainable university. The plan clearly identifies strategic objectives and outlines specific short to medium term actions to be undertaken.
These actions will build on UQ’s commitment to sustainability and will substantially improve the University’s performance across 10 key areas:
• Energy
• Transport
• Waste & Purchasing
• Water
• Biodiversity
• Land Use
• Built Environment
• Engagement & Behaviour Change
• Environmental Compliance, and
• Adaptation & Resilience
Along with outlining specific actions, the Plan references the need to track and report our performance to regularly review progress. We will report achievements on the actions from each section.
