Are you passionate about sustainability in your workplace?
UQ has a range of initiatives and programs to help you green your office or lab. Learn how to minimise waste, manage recycling, reduce paper usage, and improve energy and water efficiency.
You might also like to check out the UQ Green Fund, where staff and students can apply for small grants to implement their sustainability ideas. Past recipients have delivered projects including a new community garden, a wellbeing craft workshop and an initiative to reduce plastic waste in labs.
If you’re part of one of UQ’s many residential colleges or residences, we also have a special program designed just for you. Take a look at our Green Residents information and request a copy of our college survey to start your own sustainability assessment.
Or, if you’re not sure where to begin your greening journey, consider accessing our staff training and development modules. These tailored guides provide diverse practical tips and education to help you improve sustainability in your workplace and daily life.
