About 2023 ACTS 'The Future of Sustainability' Conference

The annual Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability (ACTS) conference ‘The Future of Sustainability’ is now in its 21st year and is a longstanding tradition that brings together sustainability champions from campus communities across Australasia and the Pacific. 

UQ has acquired an unrestricted institutional pass, granting all UQ staff and students with complete access to the four days of live virtual conference sessions, as well as post-event access to all recorded content. 

With four days of engaging sessions, expert speakers, and networking opportunities throughout November, this conference is your gateway to the latest sustainability innovations, trends and best practices for the tertiary education sector. 

Session topics

Covering practical topics such as embedding sustainability in strategy, tackling carbon offsets and scope 3 emissions, sustainability governance, creating a circular economy, diverting waste from landfill, climate change and more, the conference offers diverse opportuities for staff and studetns to get involved.
