Join us in the UQ St Lucia Community Garden (on the corner of Sir Fred Schonell Dr & Sir William MacGregor Dr) for a workshop on growing herbs and edible flowers. Other topics the workshop will cover include:

  • Choosing the right container
  • Preparing your own potting mix
  • Planting seeds and seedlings
  • Keeping your herbs happy

Register for one of the two half-hour sessions starting at 10am and 10:30am. All participants will receive a small herb plant and will learn how to keep it happy.

  • have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the previous 7 days
  • been in close contact with an active COVID-19 case in the previous 7 days

  • had a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, distorted sense of taste, shortness of breath, chills, vomiting or any cold/flu like symptoms in the last 72 hours.

From 14 February 2022, anyone attending UQ campuses, sites or facilities must be fully vaccinated – with an approved TGA vaccine – against COVID-19. Where relevant, you will be required to check in using the Check In QLD app, and show event staff proof of vaccination.
