Rough Saw-Sedge flowering grasses

The Rough Saw-sedge is a tussock forming perennial plant that grows up to 1 metre high, 1.5 metres across and has leaves that grow up to 80 centimetres long.

As the name implies, the leaves are razor sharp if rubbed downwards.

The Rough Saw-sedge produces creamy flowers followed by round shiny red nuts.
