November 8th – 12th 2021

In today’s materialistic world, where we are often compelled to buy bigger, better and more things, have you ever stopped to ask yourself: how much stuff is enough?

As it turns out, reducing our rates of consumption is not only better for the planet, but also benefits our mental health and wellbeing through improved focus, and decreased stress levels.

In the lead up to the Christmas break, we’re inviting the UQ community to participate in the Be Green, Be Kind, Be Giving Campaign, which is an opportunity for UQ staff and students to declutter their lives and give away their unwanted stuff to help our local community.

Donating to the causes you care about not only benefits the charities themselves, it can be deeply rewarding for you too. Helping others is hugely empowering and, in turn, can make you feel happier and more fulfilled.
