Did you know? E-waste should never be thrown in your red bin. When electronics end up in landfills, toxic substances like lead and mercury can seep into the soil and water. Additionally, electronics contain valuable non-renewable resources such as gold, silver, copper, platinum, aluminium, and cobalt, which can be reclaimed through recycling. To help with this, you can bring your old e-waste items to Campbell Place for recycling all week!

E-products are electronic or electrical products and devices that use a battery, power cord, or both. E-products include:

  • computers and phones,
  • small and large household appliances,
  • and anything else that needs electricity to work.
