Thanks to the help of our incredible volunteers, UQ Sustainability and UQ Property and Facilities, the Society for Conservation Biology UQ Brisbane Chapter planted 10,000 trees along the campus riverbank in 2015. This restoration project aimed to provide understory habitat for small birds and the endangered Richmond Birdwing Butterfly. To celebrate the project's success, join us for a guided walk to see the results and learn more about wildlife corridors, conserving endangered species and the importance of restoration in an urban landscape.
