Net zero and the clean energy transition: The good news, the bad news and a pathway to progress
The renewable energy rollout is proving challenging on several fronts. In this seminar we will establish the case for change and discuss the promising progress made in Queensland on transitioning to clean energy. We then discuss how to address the storm clouds on the horizon: practical difficulties around transmission; investment challenges; political distractions and the rise of conspiracy theories in the community about renewables.
The event will present detailed discussions from keynote speakers followed by an opportunity for the audience to ask questions. A light lunch will be served.
