Every commute counts in saving CO2, and swapping your keys for pedals or sneakers might be easier than you think.

Registrations will soon be open to sign up and let us know how you plan to switch your ride during Sustainability Week 2024.

Here’s how it works:

  • Register your interest to take the Commute to Curb Carbon challenge

  • Take public transit, walk/bike, or rideshare to and from UQ campuses/sites during Sustainability Week, Aug 19 - 23.

  • Fill out the survey tell us what you managed to do (we’ll email this to you) for chance to win one of three $50 gift cards.

  • We’ll let you know how many carbon emissions we saved.

This Challenge is hosted by UQ WHS and UQ Sustainability, and is open to all UQ staff and students.
