To celebrate Sustainability Week, we are inviting the UQ community to share their reloved preloved items and upcycled gems.
Send us a photo and share the story behind your revamped pre-loved items.
Three $20 vouchers are up for grabs, redeemable at the UQ Op Shop for preloved clothing. The most original upcycled gems will win.
Remember, upcycling is the best—it minimizes landfill waste, reduces the need for new materials, saves you money, and lets you get creative.

About UQ Sustainability Week 2024
Sustainability Week is an opportunity for the UQ community to celebrate and promote sustainability across UQ's campuses and sites. From August 19-23, a range of activities and events are hosted across all areas of the University, including markets, workshops, crafts and DIY, film screenings, specialist presentations, tree plantings, bird watching and garden tours, solar tours, forums and panel discussions, competitions and challenges to inspire sustainable behaviours.
