We are hosting two free e-scooter training workshops for staff and students. Come along to learn more about e-mobility, how to ride safely and the different facilities, initiatives and programs dedicated to sustainable transport that are available to you.  A spokesperson from the Department of Transport and Mains Roads will also be discussing the rules relating to e-scooters.

The  following elements will be covered in the workshop:

  1. Introduction to e-scooters and their features
  2. QLD rules and regulations of riding and owning private/shared e-scooters
  3. Safe riding tutorial with the use of an obstacle training course
  4. Leisurely ride around surrounding bikeways or other legal riding spaces to further familiarise users of e-scooters

All attendees will receive $20 Neuron credit for their participation.
