The Grow It, Cook It, Eat It workshop will provide participants the opportunity to learn more about the different types of greens, and vegetables being grown at the community gardens. Learn how to properly identify, select and harvest greens and vegetables that will tempt your taste buds. Fresh produce will be available for sampling and participants will prepare their own lunch using the produce from the garden.

About UQ Sustainability Week 2023

Sustainability Week is an opportunity for the UQ community to celebrate and promote sustainability across UQ's campuses and sites. From August 21-25, a range of activities and events are hosted across all areas of the University, including markets, workshops, crafts and DIY, film screenings, specialist presentations, tree plantings, bird watching and garden tours, solar tours, forums and panel discussions, competitions and challenges to inspire sustainable behaviours.
