This mixed mode webinar and workshop aims to educate students and staff around Australia about the situation regarding coral bleaching events in the Great Barrier Reef. Experts from CoralWatch will explore how these bleaching events are related to climate change and COP26, and will cover the situation regarding the ‘in danger’ listing of the Great Barrier Reef as a heritage listed site that was fought against by Australia.

Catering will be provided for those attending in-person. Participants will also have the opportunity to test their reef analysis skills with the help of CoralWatch.

Registration essential: a Zoom link will be sent out an hour before the event starts.
