With support through the UQ's Ventures program, Andy and Shafali have launched their business 'Uuvipak' which is on a mission to eradicate plastic pollution!

In this "Founders Talk", Andy and Shafali will share their story and why they started Uuvipak. They will also discuss the concept of "greenwashing" and outline why it is important to have products like theirs in the market to reduce plastic waste and promote a circular economy.

Event review:

Andy and Shafali provided an engaging and insightful presentation on the creation of their product and the importance of adding a compostable packaging alternative to the market. All of the event particpants were given an Uuvipak edible cup to try out for themselves, enjoying the opportunity to switch to greener products and enjoy their coffee in a more sustainable way.

 "100% home-compostable, edible, zero-plastic, zero-pollution."
