UQ’s Sustainability Walk tells a unique story and unveils a fascinating snapshot into a few of the many sustainability highlights on St Lucia campus.

The sustainability walk showcases almost 40 sustainability destinations featuring some of the sustainability initiatives and cutting edge research works currently being explored by The University. 

Join our volunteer tour guides to explore feature destinations highlighting the beautiful grounds around the St Lucia Lakes area, abundant with native birds, animals and aquatic species.

Tour times:

Monday 16th
    11am - 12pm
    1pm-2pm
Thursday 19th
    11am - 12pm
    1pm - 2pm

Tours will be leaving from out the front of the Global Change Institute (Building 20) at the top end of Staff House Road. The tour will commence and conclude at this location after a loop around the Lakes Precinct.

About UQ Sustainability Week 2021

Sustainability Week is an opportunity for the UQ community to celebrate and promote sustainability across UQ's campuses and sites. From August 16-20, a range of activities and events are hosted across all areas of the University, including markets, workshops, crafts and DIY, film screenings, specialist presentations, tree plantings, bird watching and garden tours, solar tours, forums and panel discussions, competitions and challenges to inspire sustainable behaviours.
