The Tesla Model S is available to any UQ staff member with an open licence, and its flat full or part day rental fee—while slightly higher than other Fleet vehicles—is all inclusive, with no per-km charge for fuel and maintenance.
First-time Tesla users will be given an induction by Fleet Services staff so they can become familiar with the vehicle's features prior to driving it.
