The Green Labs Program recently introduced an online forum to provide another medium for representatives to communicate.
To introduce representatives to the forum, a competition was run that encouraged reps to take a photo of a sustainability initiative within their lab and post it on the forum. Kerry Roper from the School of Biological Sciences was the winner of the competition. Kerry posted a picture of a recycling station in their lab. This is a wonderful idea to decrease the amount of waste going landfill. Kerry won a $50 UQ Union voucher for her efforts.
